Q & A with Tonette C. Robinson: "What was the Woman on the Edge Book's Concept All About?"

"Tonette C. Robinson, Author - Milwaukee Wisconsin wrote Woman on the Edge (Publication, 2012) benchmark press release. In her new novel, the author pens a poignant story of a young woman fighting to save her life out of tumultuous situation where a secret may be the motive. In Woman on the Edge, readers meet Elise whose life changes as she heads into a store. As an excerpt version from the February 18th, 2013, the Official Blog of Author Tonette Robinson reads:

"Could it be said that Elise's life were about to make a drastic change for the worst? She'd hope not; I mean, she didn't even think so but this is what happened. On one day, she was walking into the store. She heard something. She stopped and paused for a moment and looked around in and out of one direction to the next one Why, she heard something! She looked on with a sudden look of authenticity! Oh my gosh! She made a startling discovery, it was the sound, of a whisper, of a voice speaking to herself. Wait! Wait a minute! She began to slow pace through the main boutique counter of the parfum's at the store. She thought she heard something so startling -- more abruptly, yet, so soft-spoken with a firm yet restraint! She started to panic! Her heart began beating faster than the normal rate. Suddenly, frantic she'd also became at ease to quell the noise. She didn't want the other patrons to panic and wonder what's wrong with herself."

"Well, five years would pass after the incident first occurs, she began to tell Salina her best buddy what had happened but is reluctant to do at first. After she is feeling secure, yet still in stable conditions, how then does the noise occur again is a question that requires that this case became under close scrutiny? Did it have any correlation to that incident at work over that terrible coffee spill? The one with that interesting bad taste in the mouth. This time she'd recovered from the incident much more stronger and stronger than before. Why, after letting it go, could it be that she has a premonition from five years ago that someone or something is trying to tell her something. However, the mixed reactions do seem to pour out interesting clues, but she has not a hint to what the episode's throughout the entire chapters could be all about so it left a question mark while she tried out different things. All I know, is she finds help from a Dr. Andrew Morgan, he teaches her to be strong and to stay focused on the real not the fake. She seeks the advice of family members, Joni, Pierre and Portia. They all offer her some moral support and tell her to do whatever she has to do. In due time, the problem will not bother you anymore and just hang in there!"

"You know, all of this gave Elise's life a new change of heart and a new change of scenery. Over time, mind renewal played a role after t'is time, events unfolded. She started feeling better than she had before, using all for their advice, she began to view things more clearly in perspective. More in light of the situation. In lieu of the facts, she took relaxation breaks more often, to get her exercise, hang out with Salina whom was one of her biggest supporters. She stood in her corner all the way! They went to dinner, outings, and took a wonderful trip to Honolulu Hawaii. Well, she felt relaxed at her very best when she got back to town. She began to change her whole regimen around. Well, she was feeling blessed and got into some new things and new projects too and it made her feel like a new person again."

Now, that is what the novel. Woman on the Edge is all about? It's when your life can be going grand, picture perfect. All of a sudden a problem can creep up and scare the hell out of your day. Problems have a reason of solving itself but you tend to come to a conclusion that often change is necessary. it is how we solve problems otherwise, you do not want to go off the deep end. You do not want to turn out to be a Woman on the edge jumping off the cliff! No! Now, you don't want to leap your self off the ledge. Well, she got the victory too and changed herself into amazing lady after having survived the mayhem crisis around Denver."
