A Holiday Passed and Major Finals Are Out the Way!
Updated: Jan 16, 2020
"Greetings, everybody, this Is Tonette. How was Thanksgiving. You know, this posts unlike all the others reminds of this past Thanksgiving Holiday week. Well, how did all your plans go? Wonderful, I hope, so was mine and our family! I spent time with my siblings! Peanut the puppy stayed at home! I celebrated mass this past week. I had a lovely dinner with my family. In all you do, I hope you have a wonderful Merry Christmas this season too!"
"On the menu for 2019's Thanksgiving, we cooked traditional turkey and dressing, berry cranberry sauce, potato salad, turnip and mustard greens, cornbread, sweet potato pies, cherry jello in marshmallow crème and pumpkin bars and cookies will come soon. Other holidays we've had a lovely little setup of grab the smorgasborg and awesome treats on the table and we pass around egg nog. My husband Omaury wants lovely wine, brie' and cheese and celebrates in Michigan with his family, the Sapp's and the Sirhon's..."
"On the other hand, there is nothing more fun but keeping busy about celebrating right before your finals if you are a English Major and taking New Media courses, along with Creative Writing and Literature like myself. All three classes were awesome courses but now a day or so they will be over and a holiday and a semester of courses has passed away this season 2019. I had a fabulous bunch of trained experts in the field of technology, theatre and the arts. However, it gets nostalgia up in here waiting for the final drum roll. The biggest question I get asked is did I pass my classes and what grade did I get in each one of my classes. At this point, you either get a little sad it's finally over or impatient about I wonder what my final grade is."
"It reminds me of writer's block, you just don't frock it from a prior post. I've talked on and on about book review blogs. It is never good to forget what intended to write or do. So, I keep my journal up front and handy!"
"So far, I see, two A's and that one course may show a different one soon. I tried my hardest and enjoy the entire lecture, reviews and assignments. I learned a lot and felt the objectives were met. But, there is nothing like leaving a semester behind. You get this sort of funny feeling like you are about jump over the edge but I won't fail. Do not be a woman on the edge either, nor, push the button the wrong way, or leap off the ledge. Let me tell you things are not all so bad. Let me tell be careful or all kinds of mishaps might go the wrong way. Things are not gonna flunk me out, yet."
"I am very, very pleased with the University, faculty and student peer association. For the most part, I have to give thumbs up for student that are just as mature as myself. We had not a altercation while outsiders can cause strife. Let's face it, there is a bigger challenge out there that must be dealt with and it's our F-E-A-R-S that we need to know. I know, I am more than a conqueror and go after anything they want and tenacity and strength and have Christ on your side if you believe while out there and move on in our faithful journeys."
"Anyway, what I am trying to say is that there is more to do in the next few months...I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving and congratulations to those whom survived this first semester at the Universities!
